Sports massage, is a focused massage technique that targets specific regions of the body in need of rehabilitation or comfort. Typically a result of Sports Massage- employs a combination of deep tissue, Swedish massage and muscle energy technique overuse.

Deep Tissue Massage

A firm pressure and slow strokes are used in order to reach deeper layers of fascia and muscle. This is a more intense massage for musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. Not meant for relaxation

 

Swedish massage

Is one of the most common types of massages you can get. It is performed to energize the body and improve overall health. This type of massage involves actions like gliding, kneading, vibration, percussion/tapping and rolling. Massage  oil or lotion is used to protect the skin from friction.
